We’re Better Choice Costumes, LLC — a small business based in Carlsbad, California. Our website is betterchoicecostumes.com. We sell non-plastic, paper fire hats and related items, primarily to fire departments, schools, and government agencies, but also directly to individual consumers.

Artwork files — If you upload custom artwork (like a department logo for your fire hats), we store it in your account so you don’t have to re-upload it next time. Artwork approval status and history are also saved.

Shipping profile — Details like your preferred shipping method, receiving hours, dock/forklift availability, and delivery contacts. This saves time on repeat orders and helps us get your shipment to you without a hitch.

Payment information — We do not store your full credit card number. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, which maintains its own security standards.

Order history — We keep records of your past orders so you can easily reorder and so we can reference them if you ever need help.

Website cookies — Our site uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember what’s in your cart, and make the site work properly. We don’t use cookies to track you around the internet or serve you ads.

Plainly: to fulfill your orders and make your experience better. Specifically:

We use one-time passcodes for login, so there’s no password to steal in the first place. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to fulfill your orders.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we have about you
  • Correct any information that’s wrong
  • Delete your account and personal data
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time

While our products are for children, our site is not directed at children under 13 (rather the people that purchase items for these individuals), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
